G4rden
The free garden planner that grows with you. → g4rden.com
G4rden is a free web garden planner with a retro pixel-art look. Tell it where you garden and it works out your climate, frost dates, and what to plant right now, from real weather data. Plan beds, track plants, get seasonal tasks. No app store. No account required to start.
G4rden works anywhere you can set a location. The US and Canada get the fullest support; everywhere else the core planner still runs, but some data sources don’t cover every spot yet.

Why G4rden
Most garden apps ask you to sign up before you’ve planted anything. G4rden is built the other way around:
- Local-first: your garden lives on your device. Cloud backup is optional.
- Beds-first: start with one patio bed; add a yard map later if you have one.
- Honest estimates: frost dates, harvest windows, and soil advice use ~ language because weather varies.
- Beginner-friendly, grower-respectful: approachable without dumbing down spacing, rotation, or variety data.

Where you garden
US & Canada: full support. Climate, frost dates, and yard soil lookup all draw on regional survey data where available.
Everywhere else: the planner, plant library, bed tools, and frost dates still work. Your growing zone is estimated from local climate data on the USDA scale as a rough reference (it won’t match a national system like Ireland’s exactly). Yard soil lookup depends on global soil survey coverage and may not return data for every location. Bed calculators and manual soil entry always work.
